Fairy Tales

What to do, What to say?

I have realized that many people believe life is a fairy tale. This is not my problem. What I have become concerned about is when they take out all the happy and delightful parts of the story and expect life to be exactly like that.

All fairy tales had a villain and this is important to take notice of my friends. Therefore, life is expected to have difficult moments, moments when you are struggling to make it, moments when you lose yourself and wander through the forests in search of your identity, and moments when you  become stagnant or fall asleep in what you do. You will experience darkness but you have to ensure it doesn’t consume you.

Life is a journey not a bed of roses… Life helps you to discover yourself: your strengths and your weaknesses, your abilities and lack thereof, your willpower and The Will of the Master.

So… It’s not just about a happy ending folks.

“Fairy tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”– G.K. Chesterton

  1. I love a good fairytale. However, if you are not a beautiful princess don’t expect a prince charming lol.
